If you take a longer full bath or foot bath, do you need to add more MeineBase (AlkaBath) bath salts?
Normally this is only necessary for people with particularly high levels of toxins or waste products. Even in these cases, you only need to add further bath salts after half an hour or an hour during the first week or two after starting your cleansing treatments. In the long term it is not necessary to top up the bath salts. The chemical elimination processes via the skin take place slowly and only reach their climax after you have spent thirty to sixty minutes in the alkaline full bath or foot bath, or naturally also after wearing AlkalineStockings or Sleeves for this period of time. By adding a heaped teaspoon of MeineBase to a foot bath of three to five litres, or three tablespoons to a bathtub containing 175 to 200 litres, you achieve an alkaline level for the bath water of around pH 8.5. If you buy some of the pH strips we supply, you can use these to measure the alkalinity of your bath water. If this falls below a value of pH 7.5, then you should add some more MeineBase. Remember
