If you have used Elluminate Live to teach college courses, what were the pros and cons?
Though it’s not my primary job, I develop and teach college Business courses; Elluminate Live is a new technology tool that I’ll be using in the Spring and I was hoping to gain some advance reviews. I’d like to know if EL works well with just 2-way audio, or if 2-way video is much better. I also wondered how much class time ended up devoted to getting the technology working and keeping it going; some instructors have told me that they need a TA to help them manage the system while they’re teaching. I’ve appreciated those who responded about using EL as students, since I want this technology to work well for those in my classes.
