gay couples divorce rates will always be lower IMO since there are not as many elligible gay people compared to the number of elligible straight people (presuming a straight person is not a fat lard ***). if gays make up 1% of the population, then that leaves for a normal person 49.% of the population as potential mates (presuming a 50/50 split male/female but you dont need exact numbers to get the gist of my point). take out factors such as location and access since those same factors affect the 1% as it does the 99%. so look at it this way, since gays have such a significantly lower potential mate pool, (half of 1% or .5% of the population) then odds are they will be more likely to stick out a relationship/marriage that is borderline or that straigth people would walk from because they really might not find someone else. on some level this might be a good thing to encourage them to work out differences, but the flipside, which is also inescapeable is that many gay couples will stay i
