All pupils who come to Crackley have to undertake the entrance exam to Princethorpe, but by the time they have reached Year 6 we know them very well. The Headmaster of Princethorpe makes time to come and work alongside the Year 6 teacher, so he can get to know the children as well. As Head of the Junior School of the Foundation, I am invited to sit on the Admissions Panel for entry into Princethorpe and due to my knowledge of the children I am able to contribute.
