If Warthog dissolves brass jags, what about bronze brushes?
Using a bronze brush with Warthog is not very practical. Bronze is a copper alloy so pushing a bronze brush down a bore soaked with a solvent designed to dissolve copper doesnt make much sense. Warthog will eat bronze brushes. Use nylon brushes with a wire core. Brownell’s carries them. If I cant use a bronze brush, should I use a Stainless Steel Bore Brush? Running a stainless steel brush down the bore of your rifle is bad news. Stainless steel brushes scratch the inside of your barrel. Scratches trap copper fouling. We believe that stainless steel brushes ought not even be in the same building with your rifle, let alone inside the bore of your favorite rifle.
