If Veritas Press is available to home educators and children can learn in a home environment, why send our children away to school?
Classical Christian education can take place at home, and indeed respecting parental authority is one of the core values of Providence Hall. Many home educators are doing an excellent job of training their children using the classical approach. Providence Hall is an attractive alternative for those parents who would like their children to have more interaction with learners at similar stages. Interaction is a major component of learning in the logic and rhetoric stages. Even in the grammar stage, when children are learning by rote, rhymes, and repetition, it is effective for each of them to hear others develop their learning strategies.
