If vehicle return is included in the basic SkyMed Membership, what is the reason for the Primary Driver Disability Option (PDDO)?
Your basic SkyMed coverage does include return of your RV or vehicles. The Primary Driver Disability Option (PDDO) provides help when you are NOT critically injured or ill, and you have not been hospitalized, but have a medical problem where you are told by a medical professional you are not to drive for ten days or longer. PDDO provides $2,000 in reimbursable expenses toward return of the stranded vehicle and the member home, or to continue on to your original destination. Pre-approval for this member service is required.
