If there is to be a separate woodland element in Glastir why are there woodland options in Glastir AWE and TE?
Trees and woodlands are important land uses, which can help customers deliver many of the outcomes that Glastir seeks to deliver. Customers need to be able to access support for creation of woodland easily with the minimum of red tape. To do this woodland options have been built into Glastir, in addition to the BWW scheme currently and the Glastir woodland element from 2013. This is a step towards providing an integrated land management scheme providing customers with a single application point for support for all land management activities.
