No, but the use of Cel-Cool antifreeze will stop or prevent further damage. The Cel-Cool Heavy Duty Extended Service antifreeze re-passivates the metals to protect from future corrosion even if other types of antifreezes have been mixed after the use of Cel-Cool Heavy Duty Extended Service antifreeze in your engine. Cel-Cool Heavy Duty Extended Service antifreeze re-passivates aluminum surfaces exposed to electrolysis. Mixing of other antifreezes with Cel-Cool Heavy Duty Extended Service antifreeze diminishes the 750,000 mile or 7 year protection to the lesser quality antifreeze. See warranty.
