A27: The variable-based portion of your bill will change according to daily market gas prices. However, half of your usage is calculated with a fixed price per therm and is guaranteed not to change during your contract term. Your monthly bill will fluctuate according to your gas usage, which can be affected by weather conditions and/or your conservation measures. Also, you only pay for what you use.
