If the value of my house will decline so significantly, why are the Regulators proposing such drastic Regulations and why have they not informed all Hillside homeowners?
A. The Regulators have a very simple agenda: They LOVE regulation–it creates bureaucracy, keeps their jobs and allows them to tell everyone what to do; and They HATE big houses and mansions–for lots of reasons including they have a better chance to keep their jobs by keeping homeowner activists happy. We have asked the Regulators many, many times to do the following: 1. Give Notice to every Hillside Homeowner of the reduction in the use and development of their property; and 2. Conduct an independent study and give every Hillside Homeowner notice of the reduction in value their property will suffer from the Hillside Ordinance. The Regulators have refused not only to give such notices and conduct such studies, but the Regulators have even refused to give notice to all affected Homeowners that the Proposed Ordinance is even being considered (the only thing the Regulators are doing is to hold some public hearings with notice as required by law and to inform others who specifically reque
