No, it shouldnt. Performs other duties as assigned is always a part of our jobs; it is never the substantial focus of the duties and responsibilities we perform. In the new plan, the emphasis is more on the contributions of the employees as they relate to the new competencies and less on the position. This approach will help us to shift the focus to horizontal growth.
