If the Smartbox™ improves power and torque, how can it save fuel?
Imagine driving to work now, then the following day allowing the car to replicate the same journey using the throttle in exactly the same way, this time with the Smartbox™ fitted. The improved power and torque means that the car will make the journey in a faster time and at higher speeds, but using the same amount of fuel (same application of the throttle remember…). The fuel saving comes about when you aim to make the journey in the original time, thus using less application of the throttle and ultimately less fuel in the process.
