If the QSE represents a Combined Cycle (CC) with 50 MWs of duct burners, how does the QSE separate the duct burners and bid those into BESCNSRS?
This can be accomplished by setting up a virtual resource that represents the 50 MW duct burner capacity. A physical unit of the CC train is selected to split off the virtual resource. The HSL of the selected unit will be reduced by 50 MW so that this capacity is not double counted. The virtual resource is required to be modeled in the EMS database and required telemetry for a split generator provided.
