Each college will be structured according to the best way to achieve the University’s strategic aims; this may well differ across the colleges. What we are proposing is that the University needs to reduce the number of ‘autonomous’ academic units to ensure more coordinated, nimble and flexible responses to the research and teaching agendas that will be necessary to take us forward. That said, we expect a considerable degree of similarity between the College management structures.
