If the external collection agency is unable to secure payment or negotiate a payment arrangement it will be subject to another Tax Office debt collection process. Consideration may be given to firmer action, including garnishee notices, director penalty notices, statutory demands and, in some instances, bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings.
