If the Davidians were not making hand grenades, why did they have grenade hulls?
Among other side businesses, about five of the 130 Davidians made common novelty items with the grenade hulls which they sold at gun shows and flea markets. For one item they would glue a grenade hull to a wooden base and affix a small sign saying “COMPLAINT DEPARTMENT: PULL PIN” (a common item in joke and gift catalogs). In other uses, they would attach several hulls to a combat military vest (paint ballers apparently like them for the combat “look”) or they would be sold as paperweights.
