If The Cradle is set up in a city where a full-fledged Apollo hospital already exists, will it not mean unnecessary competition within the same organization?
The Cradle shall focus on the birthing process and is targeted to the upper income groups only. It thus operates in a niche market which is of a very different nature from the customers of a general hospital or clinic. We do not perceive any competition from such existing Apollo secondary and tertiary care facilities.
