When you disconnect the USB cable or turn off the camera while it is connected to the computer, please operate as follows: Please note that the stored data may be damaged if you do not follow the appropriate operation.For Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista: • Double-click the Unplug or Eject Hardware or Safely Remove Hardware icon on the task tray (usually on the lower right corner) of the computer. • Select USB Mass Storage Device or USB Disk and click Stop. • Confirm the device to remove, and then click OK. • Click OK. Note: This operation is not needed in Windows XP and Windows Vista. • Disconnect the USB cable. For Mac OS: After confirming the access lamp is turned off, drag and drop the drive icon or the icon of the recording medium to the Trash icon, then disconnect the USB cable.
