Also, the Big Ten will keep it centralized within its coverage area. Just look at the Big Ten’s basketball tournaments. The Big Ten’s men’s basketball tournament has been played only in Chicago and Indianapolis since the conference began having a tournament in 1998. The Big Ten’s women’s basketball tournament has been played only in Indianapolis, with the exception of one season when it was played in Grand Rapids, Mich. Really, the options are Soldier Field in Chicago, Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis or Ford Field in Detroit. If the Big Ten looks at college stadiums as the location, the Bank is one of the best in the conference. What position will Lamonte Edwards play for the Gophers?
