If System A treats and sells water to System B, which system has to monitor for the unregulated contaminants which have a sampling location listed as “Distribution System?
If the sampling location is listed as “Distribution System”, then samples only need to be collected for each PWS required to do the monitoring. For the UCMR (1999), this is exclusive to monitoring for Aeromonas. Each PWS selected to monitor for Aeromonas will have to collect 3 samples per sampling event. These 3 samples are expected to be taken from the distribution system “owned or controlled” by System A. You can find a listing of the systems required to conduct List 2 Aeromonas monitoring on-line.
