If Storm is African, why does she have straight white hair and blue eyes?
Heh! First of all, let’s address the eyes…many comics show her with white eyes, not blue or any other color. This is a reflection of her mutant powers. That she has been shown with blue, or ANY color, has to do with poetic license. As for her hair, it’s also a reflection of the fact that she’s a mutant. It’s another outward sign that she’s “different”, much like Kitty Pryde’s white streak in her hair. Lest you also forget, there ARE white people from Africa. Just as their are black people from England, America, France, and Austrailia. Sometimes we get hung up on where people “come from” and don’t realize that in the last couple thousand years people from every corner of the world have migrated to essentially every OTHER corner of the world as well.
