If somone hits the unsubscribe button in a forwarded message, does it unsubscribe me?

When sent using our “forward to a friend” tool, the unsubscribe link in the forward to a friend version of your template is disabled. So people receiving the forwarded message can not accidentally remove the original recipient from your newsletter list. To avoid accidental unsubscribe requests from email forwarded directly from an inbox, it’s recommend that your unsubscribe instructions display the original recipients email address. For example we recommend placing your unsubscribe text to read something like: Remove *|MERGE0|* from this list. In this case *|MERGE0|* would be replaced with each original recipients address.
