If someone went to the E.R. and were suicidal and was losing it, would they be sedated and restrained ?
They would probably only sedate someone that was harming themselves or another patient or doctor. In any case, if you were suicidal, they would definitely call the cops. The cops would escort you to a mental health facility. You may or may not be handcuffed, depending on whether or not you were cooperating.
