If someone calls me long distance via CapTel Relay Service, who gets charged for the call?
The caller who dials 1-877-243-2823 to place a long distance call to a CapTel user will be charged for the call from the moment he connects to the CapTel user. I get no sound at all and the Relay people go home at 5:00 p.m. Please contact Ultratec or the Public Service Commission to address any equipment issues. The CapTel captioning is available through the relay service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
