If some of the Differential Pressure( DP) sensors are considerable distance from the IPS, perhaps more than 200 ft., should we recommend using the BAS to provide this signal for us?
Yes, the BAS can provide a cost effective method to provide these signals at a location very close to the IPS. It can be cost effective since the BAS communication system extends throughout the building (complex) and it may be that a remote BAS sensor panel is quite close to the Differential Pressure sensor location.
