If some hardware devices do not work properly or lack a proper driver after I finish the Windows® upgrade process, what should I do?
Do the following: • In Device Manager (you can reach it via Control Panel | System and Maintenance | System), right-click the device and select Update Driver Software. Make sure the Acer Upgrade DVD is in your DVD-ROM drive, and select Install driver automatically. • Run Windows® Update via Control Panel. • Visit Acer’s website, enter the driver download page, and download the drivers for your computer model (the drivers for Windows Vista® are preferred, although most of those for Windows® XP are also workable). • If you bought the device or you know the vendor, check the vendor’s website for a workable driver. • Contact Acer’s customer service center for assistance.
