If selected for the Corps of Educators Program what are the work load expectations?
Generally, we expect the Corps members to provide between 35-40 hours per week to the program. Of course, this is an outcome driven project, with the outcome being the creation of the educational module. Therefore, it is expected that Corp members will do whatever it takes to complete their project. Based on past experience, as you would expect, the work load is somewhat lighter at the beginning of the program, and more intense toward the end of the program, especially week 5 when the Corps members are finalizing their modules. If terms of the daily schedule, we fairly flexible. Each Corps member and Research Mentor can work out their own schedules, and these will vary depending on Research Mentor vacations and travel schedules. There are, however, two weekly meetings that must be attended.
