A representative of Kent Marine stated that a mixed bed deionizer will produce water with 18-megaohm resistivity compared to rechargeable deionizers that produce water with only 2-megaohm resistivity. I notice that SpectraPure uses mixed-bed resins in its “Ultimate” DI system that is also capable of producing water with 18-megaohm resistivity.
