If Queen Serenity is Princess Serenity/Serenas mother from the Moon Kingdom, who is her father?
Since both the anime and manga never mention Princess Serenity’s father from the Moon Kingdom, so Sailor Moon fans have been left to make theories about him. None of these theories have been proven right. The only way we will ever know is if Naoko Takeuchi tells us directly but here are some guesses: • Queen Serenity’s husband died before Princess Serenity was born or when she was young. Since Princess Serenity never talks about him, she must not remember him. • Queen Serenity never had a husband. In the beginning, she was lonely ruling the Moon Kingdom all by herself and wished for a daughter, using the Silver Crystal, bringing her Princess Serenity. • Queen Serenity had a husband but he wasn’t important. Since only females ruled all the planets, except Earth, males were not important and have little power.
