If period arrived late, does the ovulation happen late the next month?
I think your following the myth that everyone (or rather everyone with a 28 day cycle) ovulates on day 14 on their cycle (this is SO not true). For someone with a 28 day cycle, ovulating anywhere from day 12-day 18 is normal (a normal luteal phase, the time between ovulation and your cycle can be anywhere from 10-16 days and be normal) AND you don’t ALWAYS ovulate on the same day, even from cycle to cycle. Example being you could ovulate on day 14 one cycle and day 16 the next cycle (though your ovulation generally doesn’t change more then a few days). Because your period came a bit late one time does not mean anything (it could have been held up by stress, change in diet, sleeping habits, any number of things) Like i stated before, for someone with a 28 day cycle it is totally normal to ovulate anywhere between day 12 – day 18.
