If people don view the femininity definition as inferior, why does all this happen?
Speaking as a woman I have to say that all that gave me a serious headache. Why do you even care? Your goal is to have everyone equal and there to be no social differentiation between gender. But I don’t want to be thought of as exactly equal to a man, I’m a woman and I’m proud of that. I like to have characteristics associated with my gender and I like for people to realize that I’m a woman for all my positive and negative traits, even the stereotypical ones that aren’t necessarily relevant to me as an individual. If society starts to see me as a genderless being then that isn’t going to happen, I’ll just be another face. ————————————–… 1) I disagree with you saying that one gender trait is considered socially weaker or lesser than another. Femininity is no more negative than Masculinity. A woman who acts masculine is ostracized in the same way as a man who acts feminine.
