If parents wish to have their children dropped off at a different bus stop, is a note required?
Yes. The parent should send a note to the school administrator requesting the student be allowed exit the bus at a different stop. The administrator will sign off on the request and a staff member will present it to the driver. Sending a note will eliminate any confusion about where the child is supposed to get off the bus. Drivers will insist that students get off at their assigned stop unless notified to do otherwise. NOTE FROM THE CHILD TO THE DRIVER WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
