If our robot loses a wheel or other significant part, are we permitted to replace it and continue, or will we loose the round automatically?

Once the round starts, you are not permitted to touch your robot until it is over. If it loses a part, it must continue until the end of that round. However, the tournament is double elimination and time will be given to repair robots if necessary in between rounds.
