If one of my candidates has done Dance and Drama in unit 2557 does that mean they have to do Dance and Drama at A2 level in Unit 2560 if taking the exam in 2005?

Not necessarily – they would just need to ensure that they follow through the ‘bold’ practitioner they did at AS through to A2. For example if a candidate studied Christopher Bruce (bold)in Dance and John Godber (non-bold) in Drama then they would have to study British Modern Dance at A2 but then would be free to choose from any genre in Dance or Music at A2.
