If Noahs flood occured, how were dinosaur fossils discovered?
Aren’t MOST fossils found UNDER ground? – Maybe it was because they were BURIED? – EARTH was still there it was just covered with WATER and when the water DRIED maybe it BURRIED the fossil bones…Seems to me that the DINOSAURS were not around when NOAH was alive ANYWAY. Genesis 7 17 For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth. 18 The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water. 19 They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered. 20 The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than twenty feet, 21 Every living thing that moved on the earth perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind. 22 Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died. 23 Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; men and animals and
A flood will not wiped out things from the world. Everything will be there without life. Fossils of dinosaur of course found underneath of the earth. So there is no question about that. Noah’s flood is recorded in the two major religious books Bible and Quran. Recently the ARK Noah used at that time of the great deluge also found in a mountain. You can in net. The Holy Quran sas that the Ark is on the mountain called Judi: Holy Quran Chapter 11:44 – Then the word went forth: “O earth! swallow up thy water, and O sky! Withhold (thy rain)!” and the water abated, and the matter was ended.
Back in the dinosaur days, according to science, there was only one continent, Pangaea I think it was called, and if that was true, then a “world” flood could have definitely been a true possibility. I think it’s pretty safe to say that “our” system of determining a year is much different than that of the time of the bible. Actually, the modern calendar we use today isn’t that old. Plus, fossils are not naturally formed, as all flesh rots and returns to the soil in a natural environment, leaving nothing behind. All fossils found, or the vast majority were either once under water or suddenly covered up by some catastrophic means that encased the body, and as the flesh did eventually disappear, an impression of said body is all that is left, not the actual creature. All fossils are in laymen terms, castings of a formal life form. Now you didn’t say actual bones, you said fossils.
Treating the Flood details as fact as per your question — Would the fossils have been wiped out? No. However, many of the bones of animals dead prior to the flood may have been eroded and displaced from their original positions particularly as the water erupted and receded; Some small, unprotected or very fragile ones may have been crushed by water pressure, but in general, bone tends to stand up fairly well to simple submersion — especially for larger, hefty plant eaters that would have probably gotten quite a lot of boron in their diets toughening up their bones nicely. Animals that died when the flood waters came on the earth may have been moved in death through either the water’s movement and/or the decay process, and ended up some distance from where they lived and even died, and from their home ranges, their body’s constituents dispersed to the waters, and their bones deposited piecemeal in some odd locations, and other later geological events may have also rearranged remains.
