Yes. Requirements to provide accessible instructional materials will be phased in, with print-based materials as the first priority in 2007. An instructor is not personally required to provide textbooks in alternative formats, but meeting the bookstore’s deadline for adoption of course materials will allow sufficient time for students to request accessible textbooks from Student Disability Services. Instructors should also work with University Library staff if they plan to use electronic course reserve services.
