If my workout has started on my iPod nano and not on my Nike + iPod WatchRemote, will the control features still work from the Nike + iPod WatchRemote?

Yes, they will all work regardless of where/how you start your workout. When I start my workout on the iPod nano, I hear a voice telling me to “press the center button to begin workout.” But if I press the center button on Nike + iPod WatchRemote, my workout never starts. Why? The “center button” to which the voice is referring is the center button on your iPod nano. Nike + iPod WatchRemote’s center button performs a play/pause function which will not start the workout. If you want to start a workout with your Nike + iPod WatchRemote, press the left side voice feedback button. But when I press the center button on Nike + iPod WatchRemote, music starts… That’s correct, because pressing the center button tells your iPod nano to play/pause. If you do not hear “beginning workout” through your headphones, your workout has not started.
