If your school district/BOCES retains one or more law firms, but does not retain any individual lawyers, it may only need to complete Parts 1 and 2 of the form for each law firm that provides legal services. If, however, your school district/BOCES provides any compensation or benefits directly to any individual lawyer, includes any individual lawyer on its payroll, or reports any individual lawyer to a public retirement system, then you must also complete Part 3 for each such lawyer.
