If my school already sends home periodic progress reports to all families of special education students, must I send home the goal sheets as well?
No. Special education students are to receive the same periodic progress reports as their nondisabled peers. The goal sheet was prepared for double duty as a progress report form for those sites where no other reporting goes on, and/or to specifically address the progress of IEP goals and objectives.
