Yes, so long as the claim is a valid claim in all regards, the outcome of the case will not alter benefit availability. If the euthanasia is performed due to complications post surgery, even the cost of euthanasia will be covered. If the horse is referred for surgery, and the horse does not survive to the surgery, costs up to that point as well as cost of euthanasia and post mortem examination will be covered should the post mortem examination reveal a covered cause and the horse was otherwise in compliance with all program terms.
