If my Creature is engaged with Lord Van Bloot, Servant of Aa’une and a Mugic or ability increases his Courage above 65, will he get his Elemental Types back?
Lord Van Bloot’s ability says, “While a Creature engaged with Lord van Bloot has [Courage] Courage less than 65, it loses and cannot gain all Elemental Types.” The important word to take note of in this ability is “while.” This means that the ability is only effective if the opposing engaged Creature’s Courage is less than 65. As soon as the opposing engaged Creature gains Courage above 65, Lord Van Bloot’s ability will no longer take effect and that Creature would regain the Elemental Types it lost.
