If your application does not fit the remit of DPFS, but is within the broader sphere of MRC interest, then you may apply via other normal funding mechanisms. In particular applications proposing the discovery of new causes or risk factors of disease, biomarkers, drug targets, or research tools should be submitted as research grants in response mode through the research boards.
