No. Your toll-free number(s) will usually take 14 days to be switched to our service, and maybe LONGER if your previous carrier will not release the number. Your previous carrier may not release your toll-free number(s) for the following reasons: • The name you entered on the Responsible Organization Form does NOT match the name that your previous carrier shows in their system; • The address does not match; OR • You have an unpaid past due balance. There are other reasons, but these are the top three. My local telephone company charges a one-time switchover fee (usually $5 for the long distance and $5 for the local-toll, if applicable) to me every time I change long distance carriers.
