I believe and this is not joking. I believe they would have toured. But only three. Paul would have because he would have been able to lord it over John that the world wanted and liked “silly love songs” in opposition to the highly philosophical and sometimes dour tomes John would write. Ringo enjoyed a pretty good lift in his “audience quotient” so he would have wanted to enjoy the accolades that he seemed to be garnering after the breakup. George was always the quiet center of the group and always saw the group as not a phenomenon of pop culture through music and the leader of a movement but as a musical group stretching the boundaries to be sure but ultimately just: “What the hell? It’s just music and we just play it so let’s have fun!” So he would be on board. Unfortunately John wouldn’t make it.
