It’s a more complicated situation than Israel brutalizing Palestinians for no good reason, Hamas terrorists are shielded and supported by many Palestinians and Israel cannot easily distinguish the innocent from the guilty. Ethically what Israel is doing is repugnant but in military terms it is an effective method of eliminating the terrorist threat; either all Palestinians reject terrorism or Israel keeps bombing.
