If Im using a scanner hooked up to the computer on which I have Odyssey Standalone, does space need to be available on a local server to hold articles as they are being sent and received?
No. When you download Odyssey onto your PC, your computer itself functions as the Odyssey server. Documents that you scan for sending and those that are sent to you are located on your computers C: drive in the Odyssey folder. Odyssey does not use space on your local server in order to send or receive documents. But if desired, you can choose to save documents you have scanned or received within Odyssey to your server.
