A – If you want to switch from the Aetna Medicare Open Plan to the Original Medicare Plan after April 1, you should call Aetna Retiree Connection at 1-800-238-6247 and follow the prompts for retiree health coverage to disenroll from the Aetna Medicare Open Plan. In addition, if you choose to disenroll from the Aetna Medicare Open Plan after April 1, you qualify for the Medicare Special Election Period described in the previous question.
