If I were to grow tomatoes with Miricle gro Potting soil, would they be organic?

No they would not as Miracle Gro is not an OMRI approved potting soil and the soil has both synthetic fertilizers and a petroleum based wetting agent. If you want to grow in potting soil organically either look for the OMRI seal on the bag (and I have seen at least 3 different brands in all the big box stores, including Wal-Mart) or read the ingredients and if you see the term wetting agent know it would not pass muster on an Organic farm But as long as you are not certified Organic and selling food as Organic it does not matter what you do.
