If I want to do beach 4 Wheel driving while Im on North Stradbroke Island do I need to purchase a permit?
You do need a 4WD permit if you wish to go 4 Wheel driving on the beaches at North Stradbroke. The permits are available at Stradbroke Island Tourism, which is located at Junner Street, Dunwich when you get off the barge. You can also purchase them at Redlands Tourism 152 Shore St, Cleveland and down the road from us at the Amity Point General Store. The permits cost $33 and are valid for 1 year.
